Our commitment to inclusionActuaRise's mission is to guarantee equal opportunities in training and employment, by eliminating all forms of discrimination. We continually strive to adjust our training programs and methods to meet the needs of people with disabilities, whether visible or invisible, throughout their training journey.
How it works?Right from the application stage, we identify candidates with disabilities. During the interview with our training manager, you have an opportunity to state your disability, indicate whether you are a recognized disabled worker (RQTH), and specify your needs in terms of adaptations, whether general or specific. Our disability advisor, and our institutional partners where appropriate, will examine the feasibility of adjusting your educational program to take account of your situation, if this is possible.
We already offer our trainees the following adaptations:
- Training courses are provided entirely online.
- Our online coding platform offers a user-friendly environment for accessing resources and working online.
We are also ready to implement other adaptations, including:
- Extra time for written exercises, on request.
- Adaptation of courses on request.
- Granting of extra sessions or organization of individual sessions, on request.
Our aim is to enable you to follow the course in its entirety. Our teaching team is ready to adapt the course to meet the needs of everyone, including people with disabilities.
Please note, however, that adapting a course may take time and extend the duration of access to training. It is therefore essential to start the adaptation process as soon as the request for training is submitted, in order to offer a personalized and adapted response as soon as possible, especially if this involves adjustments to programs, learning methods and pedagogical tools, or the mobilization of a network of partners, which can take time.
Disability advisorBefore a candidate with a disability confirms the enrolment, our advisor will contact you to set up the process of adapting the program. This person becomes your main point of contact for all disability-related issues. The disability advisor coordinates the entire process between the various stakeholders on the teaching team. Her role is to do everything possible to adapt the curriculum to your the needs. Once the partners have been contacted and the adaptation of the course is underway, she continues to act as a link between the educational teams and the disability-related partners. She may also organize regular meetings with student to ensure that the adaptation of the course is effective and that there are no major obstacles.
